Bicester Good Neighbour Scheme

We aim to provide a personal, caring home visiting service to older people living in Bicester.

If you feel you could benefit from a little extra friendship and support, then we are happy to help you.

Who qualifies for the Good Neighbour Scheme?

Our volunteers are happy to visit anyone who needs help, but priority will be given to those who are over 65 and living alone.

Who are the volunteers?

All volunteers have been checked by the Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) and they all carry identification.

How to arrange for a volunteer to visit you.

If you would like to be visited by one of our helpful volunteers, you can call us to arrange a visit.

The office is open from 8.30 am to 4.00 pm, Monday to Friday.

To ensure that people who use the service and our volunteers stay safe, we will ask you to provide us with information such as emergency details, whether you have any special needs and some safety questions about your home environment.
